NS-dance Irish diaspora
Myrish people to emigrate in the world, they have their own cultural traditions with them. Many people theorize that Sean dance-NS influences many other traditional solo dance, especially those located in areas where there is a strong Myrish communities. Historically, it is likely that Sean NS-influenced dance in the U.S. and Canada, many of the traditional percussive dance forms, such as buck dancing, flatfooting, clogging and tap dance. Sean-NS Dance in America and Canada often sees folk festivals, although dance workshops are beginning to put beyond style.

Stepdancing as a modern form comes straight from the old step dancing [citation needed].
